Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has appointed Gil Miner to oversee its Atlantic operations, including a team of 30 employees from the Moncton office. He replaces Faith Matchett, who is retiring.
Miner started with FCC as a relationship manager in 2008, and worked his way up to Atlantic senior director—a position he held until this recent promotion.
Prior to joining FCC, Miner worked for nearly two decades in various roles at a Canadian chartered bank, according to a press release.
“My vision for FCC in Atlantic is to continue to grow and evolve with the industry by building on our great relationships, understanding our customers’ needs and delivering value,” Miner said in the release.
“We will continue to be an industry leader and support all sectors and all sizes of enterprises at all stages of maturity,” he added. “Faith has left FCC Atlantic in great shape, and I look forward to meeting farm and business operators who work hard every day to put food on our tables.”
