The Grocery Foundation’s 2024 Toonies for Tummies campaign is now live with its first retailer, Quality Foods.
Continuing until March 20, the 2024 fundraiser boasts an expanded retailer footprint with the addition of Calgary Co-op and a record 43 sponsors.
Toonies for Tummies will take place in 1,500 stores, with the goal of raising $4 million.
This year’s campaign includes an interview on The Morning Show (Global News) on Feb. 9. Ontario’s first poet Laureate Randell Adjei, himself the benefactor of a student nutrition program during his elementary school years, is also featured in the campaign.
The Grocery Foundation will host breakfast events with retailers and sponsor partners in Vancouver in January, as well as in Toronto on Feb. 1 and in Calgary and Pictou County, N.S. in February.
