Poll Results: Which national grocery retailer is impressing you the most?

So far, this has proven to be a action-filled year for the grocery industry.

From the results of Sobeys’ acquisition of Safeway to Loblaw finalizing its takeover of Shoppers, all grocery retailers have continued to up their game amidst intense competition.

So, bearing all these changes in mind, we asked our readers in our most recent online poll: Which of the major national grocery retailers is impressing you the most right now?

Turns out many of you had an opinion on the matter, with more than 1,000 votes in a two-week span.

The retailer that garnered the most votes (33%) was Walmart.

Coming in a close second, and third were Sobeys and Loblaw, with 25% and 22% of respectively.

Costco (15%) and Metro (4%) rounded out the top five.

With the year only half-way done, time will tell what else retailers have in store for fall.
