Larry McIntosh, president and CEO at Peak of the Market, is retiring after 27 years with the Winnipeg-based, grower-owned vegetable supplier.

"Larry's commitment, dedication and extreme passion to the produce industry and to Peak of the Market will not be forgotten," said Peak of the Market chair Peter Loewen, in a press release. "We are grateful for his contributions and wish him nothing but the best in the future."

McIntosh will remain with the company until June. A search for his successor is expected imminently.

"I am very proud of the entire team at Peak of the Market. Together, over the years, we have grown the company and have accomplished so many major milestones," said McIntosh. "The team's dedication to growers, customers, suppliers and to each other says so much about the company."
