2023 Star Women in Grocery winners panel announced!

Executives from Loblaw, Sobeys, Unilever Canada and Tree of Life Canada to speak at this year’s sold-out event

Canadian Grocer is excited to announce the participants of this year’s Star Women in Grocery winners panel.

Four of this year's winners will share their insights in an engaging panel discussion during the sold-out 2023 Star Women in Grocery Awards ceremony, taking place September 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The International Centre in Toronto.

The 2023 panelists are:

Julie Filipuzzi, head of customer experience, Unilever Canada
Randa Hassanie, team lead, Pattison Food Group account and e-commerce, Tree of Life Canada
Karen White-Boswell, director, external communications, Sobeys
Lori Verna, vice-president, supply chain systems, Loblaw Technology & Analytics/Loblaw

Brenda Kirk, senior vice president of merchandising and procurement at Pattison Food Group, will keynote this year’s event.

Since 2012, Canadian Grocer has been recognizing outstanding women in the grocery industry. From retailers to distributors to foundation and CPG professionals, Star Women in Grocery Award winners are those who are making a real impact and changing the food retail landscape.
