a2 Milk is making its moooove into the Canadian market.
Launched in New Zealand in 2000 and in the U.S. in 2015, a2 milk is now available at major grocery stores across Canada. While conventional cows' milk contains a mix of both A1 and A2 protein types, a2 comes from cows that naturally produce only the A2 protein, which the company says makes it easier to digest. Produced in Canada and sourced from Canadian dairy farmers, a2 Milk is available in 1% partly skimmed, 2% partly skimmed and 3.25% homogenized, and is sold in 2-litre cartons.
