Acosta Canada appoints new EVP, GM

Acosta has appointed David Johnston as executive vice-president, general manager, Acosta Canada. In this role, Johnston will lead Acosta Canada Grocery and Acosta Canada’s Natural Specialty Sales (NSS) teams.

Johnston brings more than 25 years CPG experience, and according to a press release, is "well-positioned to bring positive change and accelerated growth to Acosta’s Canadian clients and customers."

Johnston recently served as president, Canada for Chef Works Canada Inc. Prior to this, Johnston spent 11 years at Pinnacle Foods Canada Corporation, where he partnered with Acosta and NSS Canada in the sales and distribution of products across all channels including grocery.
