Alimentation Couche-Tard has reported stronger third-quarter net income as revenue rose 6%.
The convenience store operator says it had US$287 million of profits in its fiscal third quarter, up from US$274 million in the comparable period last year.
Revenue at the Quebec-based company, which reports in U.S. currency, rose to $3.07 billion.
Couche-Tard's net income was equal to 50 cents per share, up from 48 cents per share.
Adjusted earnings were 53 cents per share, about the same as last year.
Couche-Tard's banners in Canada include Mac's, but it's switching to Circle K as its global brand everywhere but Quebec, where Couche-Tard will remain the company's main banner.
