Alimentation Couche-Tard to sell 25 stores in Canada
According to MarketWatch, Alimentation Couche-Tard has put for sale 25 Mac's, Circle K and Couche-Tard stores in Canada, along with 68 U.S. Circle K stores.
The stores were put onto the market in September according NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC.
The 25 stores in Canada are based in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan, with six of the stores up for sale having gas operations. The deadline bids for the Canadian operations are due January 9, 2024. The stores in the United States are across 21 States 42 of the stores having gas operations. Bids for these operations are due on November 16.
This is the third sale that NRC Realty & Capital Advisors has done for Circle K in the last three years. In late September, Couche-Tard put 68 U.S. Circle K stores up for sale.
In 2022, the company sold 109 Circle K and Couche-Tard sites in the U.S. and Canada. In 2021, it auctioned more than 355 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
