Andrea Watson tapped to lead FreshWagon

Andrea Watson has been named president and CEO of FreshWagon—an online market that delivers locally sourced products to select markets in Southern Ontario.

Watson will continue to serve as CEO of Nature Knows Inc., the company she founded that provides single-serve, ready-to-eat fresh fruit and vegetables in compostable packaging.

Watson, one of Canadian Grocer’s 2020 Star Women in Grocery, brings more than 25 years of CPG experience to the role having worked at Kraft Foods before venturing out on her own to launch Nature Knows.

Watson has been working closely with FreshWagon as a vendor partner over the last year. In a press release, FreshWagon co-founder and chief marketing officer Michael Williams said Watson was the perfect fit to lead the company into new products and delivery areas.
