Asda first supermarket to offer 3D printing
Asda is trialling the service at one store, with plans for a rollout in all outlets
Asda is the first supermarket to offer 3D printing that creates miniature replicas of anything that is scanned.
People and even cars can be scanned, with designs sent to a printing factory that will create lifelike figures made of high-quality ceramic.
Prices for the service are more than 60 per cent cheaper than other retailers.
