Asda launches $8 phone

UK grocer Asda has entered the mobile sector with the luanch of it's "lowest price phone" that is £5 ($8) on pay as you go. The phone manufactured by Alatel has limited features, with only enough storage for 100 contacts and an FM radio, howeever it's still makes calls, texts for a really low price. The grocer follows rival Tesco's earlier Hudl tablet launch. The Hudle is a low-cost tablet that retails for $192. To read more, go here.
