Associated Grocers elevates Brody Powell to VP
Western Canada-based Associated Grocers has promoted Brody Powell to vice president.
He steps into the new role at the Pattison Food Group-owned grocery wholesaler on July 1.
Powell has spent more than 20 years at Pattison Food Group, beginning his career at Buy-Low Foods.
He joined Associated Grocers in 2011 as retail marketing manager, and most recently served as general manager of independent wholesale.
Powell is also a member of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association board of directors.
“Over more than 20 years, Brody has continually demonstrated dedication, initiative, and strong leadership. He is driven to achieve his goals and his passion for the business has played a vital role in AG's growth and success,” the company said in a statement on LinkedIn. “As we look to the future, Brody’s retail and wholesale expertise will be instrumental in aligning and enhancing synergies across Associated Grocers and our broader Pattison Food Group business to business operations.”
