A natural cheese, made with 100% Canadian milk, Balderson Aged Gouda is matured for 12 months to produce mild, sweet caramel notes with a hint of hazelnut flavour. Balderson Cheese has over 140 years of award-winning cheddar cheese making experience and for the first time is expanding its selection in aged cheeses to gouda. Also available in Balderson Aged Smoked Gouda, aged for 12 months and smoked using hickory wood to create a perfectly balanced Gouda with smoke flavour in the forefront followed by mild, sweet caramel notes and a hint of hazelnuts. Balderson Gouda is a hard gouda with a creamy texture, great on its own or as a pleasant addition to any charcuterie board. Aged Gouda is a new offering, available in a 200g pack and Smoked Gouda in 170g pack.
