Bee Maid Honey Limited has announced several changes to its sales team.

Jeff Shevchuk will assume the role of national retail sales manager. With over 35 years of consumer packaged goods experience, Shevchuk will manage the honey packer’s retail business portfolio in Canada. He will provide leadership for Empire, Loblaw and the UGI group.

Jeri Hudson takes up the role of international sales manager. She will manage the domestic and export Costco portfolio, as well as advancing opportunities with international customers.

Sharon Jones moves to the position of business enablement manager. Jones has spent her career in category management with national and commodity marketing, and is charged with managing global pricing and forecasting, as well as leading the product innovation roadmap.

Finally, Bee Maid Honey veteran Isela Arroyo will continue her role of food service and industrial business unit manager, growing opportunities within these sectors in North America. Arroyo provides leadership with GFS Canada, Starbucks and TDL, as well as managing the broker network in key portfolios.

“The Canadian honey market continues to be challenged with high prices and tightening supply,” said Kirk Wilson, director of business growth, in a statement. “Looking to 2024, Bee Maid is excited to announce plans for an expanded facility in Spruce Grove, AB and a brand new processing/packaging facility in Winnipeg, MB. The realignment of our sales department will allow us to grow our business into the next decade and beyond, effectively utilizing these new facilities.”
