Buy-Low Foods announces executive changes

Buy-Low Foods LP has announced changes to its executive team, including promotions at head office and within its wholesale divisions.

Sam Corea has been promoted to chief operating officer for Buy-Low Foods LP and will be responsible for real estate development, customer experience and human resources for Buy Low Foods, Nesters Markets, Meinhardt Fine Foods and AG Foods.

Aaron Bregg moves into the role of vice-president, supply chain for Associated Grocers--one of the company's wholesale divisions that serves more than 650 independent retailers across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

While Bregg continues to oversee produce operations for Buy-Low Foods, as part of his new role he will be responsible for the Surrey, Langley and Calgary Distribution Centres and Transportation management teams.

Troy Dewinetz has been promoted to the position of vice-president, merchandising and marketing for Buy-Low Foods LP. He will be responsible for procurement across the company's wholesale operations, category management, vendor negotiations, digital marketing, e-commerce and loyalty marketing.

Previously serving as director, retail operations, Dereck Hein moves into the vice-president, retail operations role for Buy-Low Foods banners to provide support to the company's network of stores as it continues to grow.
