Canada Packers appoints VP of strategy and sustainability

Canada Packers has hired Leah Stemeroff as vice-president, strategy and sustainability.

Stemeroff joins the Maple Leaf Foods pork company to lead the development and execution of its enterprise-wide strategy. 

She joins Canada Packers from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she was principal in the retail practice. There, Stemeroff advised Canadian retailers on complex transformations, long-term enterprise strategy and profitability improvement initiatives. 

Stemeroff takes up her new role at Canada Packers on Sept. 8.

"Leah brings the strategic expertise and sustainability mindset we need as we continue building Canada Packers as an independent public company. I'm confident she'll help strengthen our long-term direction and create value across the business,” said Dennis Organ, president and CEO of Canada Packers, in a press release.
