The Canadian Food Innovation Network has promoted Dana McCauley to CEO.
Formerly chief experience officer, McCauley will work in step with outgoing chief executive Joseph Lake.
McCauley has long worked in the food innovation space as a writer and editor, a television commentator, a senior executive in the food manufacturing sector and a food business incubator and accelerator.
“I’m honored to be selected as CFIN’s new CEO,” McCauley said in a statement. “Our strategy and mission remain the same and our team will continue to champion transformative innovation across all aspects of the food industry. With over 2,600 members and more joining every day, it’s imperative that CFIN continues to build the tools and support that will allow Canadian innovators to discover, learn, and grow.”
