Canadian Grocer's 2026 Impact Awards are now open!
We know Canada’s grocery industry is filled with examples of companies and individuals making a positive impact. Now, we’re asking you to shout out about these efforts.
The Canadian Grocer Impact Awards recognize initiatives introduced by retailers, suppliers and solution providers that are making a meaningful difference in a range of areas from helping the planet to supporting employees and communities.
No matter if your company is big or small (we recognize that companies of any size can make a positive impact) we encourage you to take a few minutes to nominate a company initiative in the following areas:
• Sustainability (food waste, ethical sourcing, energy efficiency initiatives etc.)
• Community Service/Local Impact/Giving Back
• Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
• Supporting Employees
• Impact Champion Award —launched in 2025, this award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond to drive change in any of the four categories above (sustainability, DEI, community service or supporting employees).
Winners will be featured in the August 2026 issue of Canadian Grocer. The deadline to submit your nomination is May 14, 2026.
