Cash, credit or PayPal?

PayPal focusing on letting consumers know it's more than just a mobile payments company
5/22/2013

With mobile payments and credit card companies pushing to go digital, one company is looking to get into bricks and mortar.

PayPal, the e-commerce firm owned by eBay, is spending more on marketing to support its push into physical stores.

The company expects to be in two million merchant locations by the end of 2013. It is also working on ways to persuade consumers to use PayPal rather than their usual credit and debit cards, said a Reuters report.

Via a smartphone app, customers would use PayPal, or they can type in a mobile phone number and four-digit PIN set up online beforehand at a merchant's checkout counter.
