Club Sobeys members can donate points to charity

Sobeys has launched a Club Sobeys point redemption program that allows customers to donate their Club Sobeys points to local charitable organizations, which in turn will be able to redeem their points for food purchases or Sobeys gift cards .

Ontario Club Sobeys members can donate their points to the following charities: Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, Daily Bread Food Bank, Ontario Association of Food Banks, Second Harvest, Toonies for Tummies (The Grocery Foundation), The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

“Sobeys is very proud to support charitable causes across Ontario and we’re excited offer our Club Sobeys members an innovative way to contribute to charities that are truly meaningful to them,” said David Jeffs, president operations, Sobeys Ontario.

To help kick off the program, Sobeys has donated 500,000 points to each participating charity.
