Colemans celebrates 80 years
Anniversary commemorated with sales, contests and events at all locations
Last week Colemans proudly celebrated 80 years of operation in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The chain was founded in 1934 when founder Arthur James moved to Newfoundland and opened the first Colemans location in Corner Brook, N.S.
Today, the Coleman group boasts 12 food, four furniture and three clothing retailer operations along with a wholesale food division.
