Colemans welcomes new addition to family business

Colemans is growing.

Newfoundland's biggest family-owned food store chain recently purchased Belbin's Grocery -- a 75-year-old business in St. John's. Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to a press release, Colemans will retain "Belbin's dedicated staff, as well as its name and storefront... Belbin's will continue to offer the same signature products and quality customer experience associated with the Belbin's brand."

Colemans owns and operates 12 food, four furniture and three clothing operations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, in addition to a wholesale food division.
