Convenience goes high-tech at new 7-Eleven

A chain known for its big gulp takes a big bite out of the apple with a new high-tech store

In New York City's financial district, there's a new 7-Eleven convenience store that opened in July that resembles a high-tech café. There's touchscreen ordering, free Wi-Fi, giant flat-screen TV, and seating for 25. And topping it off? An Amazon Locker. That's right, it's the kiosk where Amazon customers can now go to pick up products ordered online.
