Costco opens second store in Oshawa, Ont.
Warehouse features on-site bakery, food court and more
Costco opened its second warehouse in Oshawa, Ont. last week.
At 161, 391-sq.-ft., the store features an on-site bakery, fresh meat and rotisserie chicken sections, and an extensive produce area.
It also includes a food court, tire centre, pharmacy, a hearing aid centre and a gas station with 24 pumps.
“With the opening of this new warehouse, we can serve all of our members in the Oshawa and surrounding area and can bring new consumers and businesses to uncover the benefits of a Costco membership,” said Gino Dorico, Costco Canada's senior vice-president and country manager.
