Costco reports $1.3 billion profit in Q3, e-comm down 10%

Costco Wholesale Corp.’s net sales increased 1.9% in the third quarter of fiscal 2023 to $52.6 billion.

Comparable sales in Canada fell 1% and e-commerce decreased 10%, with total company sales up 0.3%.  

The club’s net income for the quarter was $1.3 billion, down from $1.35 billion last year. 

Costco currently operates 853 warehouses, including 107 in Canada. The company operates e-commerce sites in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.
