Costco’s Canadian sales up 3.3% in May

Costco Wholesale Corp. reported net sales of $20.97 billion for the retail month of May. 

That’s an increase of 6.8% from the prior year.

Comp sales for Canada rose 3.3% compared to 4.1% in the U.S. Other International sales were up 6.6% and e-commerce increased by 11.6%.

Net sales for the first 39 weeks of the fiscal year came to $201.02 billion, up 0.8%.
