Cott Corporation fills global IT role

Cott Corporation has named William Jamieson as its global chief information officer, effective immediately. He reports to the company's chief executive officer Tom Harrington.

In his new role at Cott, Jamieson leads global IT operations and will help build out the company's technology strategy. Jameson brings with him more than 25 years IT experience. He most recently served as senior vice-president and chief information officer at GNC.

"We are very excited to have Mr. Jamieson lead the evolution of our customer and business platforms and to ensure that we are embracing and developing new and existing technologies while working with our customers, partners and suppliers to ensure our IT discipline is at a world-class level," said Harrington in a press release.
