CrushDynamics names new VP of sales

CrushDynamics has hired Shaun Richmond as its new VP of sales.

Richmond has been tasked with building new relationships between the B.C.-based company--that “converts grape derivatives into nutritious, flavour enhancers”--and plant-based food producers.

Richmond was most recently global director of sales, sugar reduction with Firmenich. He has also worked as VP of international sales at GLG Life Tech, and as VP sweeteners at Layn Natural Ingredients.

"I've spent the better part of two decades leading global commercial teams in the natural foods and ingredients industry," said Richmond in a press release announcing his hire. "My focus has always been around presenting new solutions and technology to improve the taste profile and nutritional value of foods and beverages to allow a wide-scale introduction to mainstream consumers. I'm passionate about continuing this pursuit at CrushDynamic."
