DCI hands out its 2019 Star Awards
The third-annual awards recognize organization's partners and independent retailers
DCI Star Winners 2019
DCI held its third-annual Business Summit in Toronto last week. A highlight of the event was the DCI Star Awards, which recognize key partners and independent retailers. Six awards were handed out to the following:
Retailer of the Year – Vince’s Market
Partner of the Year – Chapman’s Ice Cream
Social Responsibility Award – Kudrinko’s Ltd.
Innovation Award – Summerhill Market
Leader of the Year – Jeff O’Neill, Weston Foods
Lifetime Achievement Award – Jim Bexis, Sun Valley Market

DCI (Distribution Canada Inc.) was formed in 1981 as a buying group for independent grocers. Today, its members include independent grocers, small grocery chains, wholesalers/distributors and convenience chains.
