Deadline extended for Genext Award submissions!

Canadian Grocer has extended the deadline for nominations for the Generation NEXT Awards to September 17.

The awards, done in association with the Golden Pencil Award, recognize the up-and-coming leaders in the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries.

“NEXT” stands for New Exciting Thinkers.

If you’re under the age of 40 and have demonstrated innovation and commitment to the grocery or consumer packaged goods industries, enter the Generation NEXT Awards!

Can you answer “Yes” to the following or do you know someone who fits the bill?

• Have you shown a commitment to a career in either the grocery or consumer packaged goods industries?

• Have you demonstrated innovation through your work?

• Have you shown leadership (including the capacity to inspire and lead others, and a commitment to learn from others)?

• Have you shown a commitment to getting involved in the industry (i.e. through associations), with charities or in the community?

Finalists will be featured in Canadian Grocer magazine and winners announced at the Golden Pencil Award on Nov. 19, in Toronto.
