Denninger's to close Oakville location

Denninger’s is closing its Oakville, Ont. location this week.

The specialty grocer announced on Facebook that its store in the city’s Bronte community will close its doors on March 29.

“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Oakville community and our loyal customers for your support over the years—you have been a cherished part of our journey for well over a decade,” the statement reads.

“While this chapter is coming to a close, we invite all of our Oakville customers to visit our Burlington and Hamilton stores for your favourite items! We look forward to welcoming you there soon!⁠”

One Facebook user replied, "My second home. I will miss it very much."

Located at 2400 Lakeshore Road West, the Denninger’s Foods of the World is one of the grocer’s five stores. It currently operates three locations in Hamilton and one in Burlington.
