Cross-country tour teaches Americans fresh ways to use produce

Dole and and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze have joined together to launch simultaneous Peel the Love Banana Cabana Tours in 2014.

The tour is a playful way to reacquaint Americans with bananas, and offer ways to incorporate fresh produce into summer meals and snacks.

Dole and Blue Diamond caravans will depart New York City and Dallas simultaneously on May 26, traveling to venues in 26 cities in 21 states over 2014 days. The groups will be handing out banana recipes, recipe booklets, product samples, banana-themed activity sheets and other giveaways at local supermarkets and public events.

This is the second year of Dole's "Peel the Love" tour.
