Eataly is introducing a new dining concept to its market in Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood.

La Piazza—coming soon to the Italian food hall’s Eaton Centre and Sherway Gardens locations—is designed to mirror the experience of an Italian piazza (public square).

Experiential elements include tastings and special surprises, “build-your-own” martini and gin and tonic programs, and an expanded spritz offering.

The concept is an extension of Eataly’s marketplace featuring a salumi and formaggi counter, seafood and butcher counters, a fresh mozzarella production lab and an in-house bakery, alongside seasonal produce and dry goods. Rotating specials can be found on chalk boards within the space, including Prodotto del Mercato, or produce pick of the month.

Other highlights include half price bottles of wine every Wednesday (“Wine Wednesdays"), live music and guest collaborations such as ticketed pop-ups.
