Eating healthy, the wrong way

In avoiding certain foods, people with diabetes often end up eating worse

A marketing professor in Alberta has discovered an interesting problem for people recently diagnosed with diseases like diabetes. Even as they try to eat healthier, they gravitate to foods that aren’t good for them.

Diabetics will cut down on sugary foods and beverages, for example, but will then eat more foods high in sodium and fat, says Yu Ma, a professor with the Alberta School of Business.
