The grocery industry is set to convene in Vancouver next month for Western Canada’s largest meetings, exhibition and conference event.

Grocery & Specialty Food West (GSF) – presented by the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) – brings together retailers and manufacturers from across Canada to discover new innovations and build relationships.

Attendees at this year’s event will discover innovations across all categories, products, services, technology, equipment and more.

GSF West’s new pavilions feature regional and global offerings, including Sustainability Sentral, Canada Connect, High Quality BioEurope and Choose Ontario.

Morning sessions and workshops include a second-generation grocers panel and a discussion about the proposed Grocery Code of Conduct.

Exclusive sessions include the latest economic data from BMO’s chief economist Douglas Porter, as well as a presentation on UEP (Unique Emotional Positioning) from Tony Chapman.

Apart from business sessions, programs include 1:1 matchmaking Retailer Connect, a members’ Industry Tour and free networking events on Sunday and Monday.

GSF West takes place April 24 and 25 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, East Building.
