Farm Boy’s relocated store in Kanata, Ont., is set to open on Dec. 4

The grocer announced the relocation from its current address on Hazeldean Road to a new home on Terry Fox Drive.

“Situated within one of Kanata’s primary retail districts, the new location remains in the neighbourhood while offering an expanded grocery selection,” notes a press release.

The store’s grand re-opening will take place on Dec. 4 and 6 and will feature live music, product samples, exclusive offers and giveaways.

The Kanata location will feature a fresh-market experience with an updated design, including local and organic produce, Ontario-sourced dairy and meat, a butcher counter, hot bar, soup and salad bar, everyday essentials and Farm Boy private label products.

“With this move, we want to give the Kanata community even more of what they love: a larger selection of fresh, high-quality products at excellent value, and the same friendly service they’ve come to expect,” said Shawn Linton, president and general manager of Farm Boy. “This new store highlights Farm Boy’s ongoing commitment to delivering a fresh-market experience, while expanding our selection of everyday essentials and pantry items, giving our neighbours a more complete shop.
