Farm Boy opened the doors to its 45th store on Nov. 3.
The retailer’s new 27,739 sq. ft. market, located at 81 St. Clair Avenue East in Toronto, will employ 139 people.
Farm Boy promises to bring its standard fare to Yonge and St. Clair – more than 1,600 private-label products; local produce and dairy, meat and grocery products; plant-based vegan and vegetarian fresh foods; a hot bar, salad bar and grill station; treats from the Farm Boy Bake Shop; and a variety of local, international and Canadian cheeses.
“We look forward to welcoming new customers to experience Farm Boy for themselves at our new location here at Yonge and St. Clair,” said Shawn Linton, Farm Boy president and general manager, in a statement. “Over the years, we have received so much support from our Toronto customers. Torontonians have come to know and love Farm Boy – a wide variety of fresh and unique private-label products, along with a unique and outstanding customer experience.”
Farm Boy opened eight stores in 2021 and most recently opened its first store in Barrie, Ont., on March 31.
