Ontario retailer Farm Boy is set to open its 51st store next week—with a twist.

The opening of the store in Toronto’s Leaside neighbourhood will coincide with the launch of “A Farm Boy Fresh Twist,” the company’s commitment to transforming the grocery shopping experience.

Opening Dec. 12 at 147 Laird Drive, the store will feature an enhanced range of fresh items, frozen and grocery products, everyday non-food essentials and international offerings.

Shoppers will also find Farm Boy’s private label products, new additions to the chef’s department and a variety of gluten-free, plant-based and vegetarian options.

The store—one of Farm Boy’s largest—marks the Empire Co. Ltd.-owned grocer’s 22nd in the Greater Toronto Area.

“We’re thrilled to bring “A Farm Boy Fresh Twist” on the food experience to Leaside,” said Shawn Linton, president and general manager of Farm Boy Company Inc., in a release. “This new store celebrates Farm Boy’s ongoing commitment to delivering a fresh-market shopping experience, offering high-quality products at excellent value, and unparalleled customer service while fostering a strong connection with our new neighbours. Come on in and check out what’s new!”
