The inaugural Food & Consumer Products of Canada’s (FCPC) invitational charity golf tournament and dinner raised $20,000 for Food Banks Canada on June 24.
The golf tournament was held at Blue Springs Golf and Country Club, northwest of Toronto.
Close to 100 professionals from the manufacturing and retailing industry participated.
It is estimated that each month, close to 900,000 Canadians are assisted by food banks, and 38% of those helped are children and youth.
