Pusateri's president says company will rebuild flagship location

A three-arlm fire has caused heavy damage to Pusateri's Fine Foods' flagship store.

Firefighters arrived at the downtown Toronto location, located on Avenue Rd. north or Lawrence, on Saturday night after an 8:45 p.m. call.

Fireighters were able to control the blaze by 11 p.m, but by Sunday afternoon, no one had been allowed back in the building, which also serves as Pusateri's head office.

According to Pusateri's president Frank Luchetta, the fire didn't hurt the structural integrity of the building, but there was extensive damage caused by the sprinklers and smoke. Luchetta confirmed they will rebuild the store.

Pusateri's has two other Toronto locations in Yorkville and Bayview Village (pictured).

The fine food grocer has also announced plans to open a fourth location during the 2015 holiday season in Oakville, a suburb in the Greater Toronto Area.
