Sunripe to host grand opening for new 18,300 square foot store in London, Ont. this month

After 18 years on 744 Adelaide Street in London, Ont., local grocer Sunripe has opened the doors to its relocated market.

The new, 18,3000 square foot store (its previous location was 11,300 square feet) is located at 1800 Adelaide Street.

Features include a popcorn station, guacamole/salsa station, sushi station and brand new equipment, such as a smoker in its kitchen, and an expansion of offerings.

The store will hold its grand opening celebrations on April 22.

“Although it will be a sad moment when we have to leave our little store… we have made great memories,” Will Willemsen, founder and owner, said in a statement. “You have been great, loyal customers and we hope you join us in this new adventure. When you come to visit us at our new store, we are sure you won’t be disappointed. There will be so many new products for you to taste and try. We will start with the basics and keep adding products as the team evolves.”
