Flipp hires first-ever chief technology and product officer

Flipp has appointed Rick Neuman to chief technology and product officer--a newly-created position at the Toronto-based digital flyer company.
In his new role, Neuman will work with retailers to help them reach shoppers in "new and innovative ways," according to a press release announcing his appointment, while also working to advance the Flipp app.
Neuman joins Flipp from Walmart International where he served as VP technology strategy.
"Rick's leadership style, proven track record and industry knowledge will make a positive impact on our business," said Flipp's executive chairman Wehuns Tan. "I am extremely excited to welcome Rick as he helps us take Flipp to the next level for our customers and retail partners across North America."
