Fresh Prep is expanding to Alberta.
The meal kit and prepared meals delivery service will be available to residents of Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and surrounding areas by the end of the month. It is already available throughout B.C.
Fresh Prep preps, portions and delivers fresh ingredients to make healthy meals at home in 30 minutes or less. Subscribers can choose from 10 different meals each week including vegetarian and vegan options.
And, to help minimize waste, each order is packed in reusable, insulated cooler bags with reusable ice packs.
The meal kits use Alberta-raised beef in addition to “add-on offerings” from local businesses such as MiniKitchen, Raw by Robyn, Pie Junkie, Mountain Rhino and Shef’s Fiery Kitchen.
“Our team is extremely passionate about making sustainable and healthy eating more convenient for busy families and individuals,” said Becky Brauer, co-founder and co-CEO, Fresh Prep, in a press release.
“Alberta has a very diverse and exciting food culture, and our team took the time to specifically curate dishes that we know Albertans would be proud to serve at their dinner tables,” added Brauer.
Albertans can register for the service starting Sept. 16, with meal kit and prepared meal deliveries starting Sept. 26.
