Gallery: UNFI Canada's 2023 Innovation Showcase

UNFI Canada hosted its Innovation Showcase Wednesday (June 14) at the Universal Event Centre in Vaughan, Ont.

Retailers from across the country attended to see the newest innovations from more than 165 natural product vendors.

The day was hosted by Melinda Zoccoli, VP of supplier services and marketing, and was kicked off with a welcome address by company president Stacey Kravitz. 

This year’s Pitch Slam featured five up-and-coming brands competing for a $15,000 prize, with Lift Bar named winner. 

Before the show floor opened, a keynote address was made by Brian Kateman about the plant-based food movement. 

The show floor was open from 10:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
