Giant Tiger expands its loyalty program out West

Giant Tiger has expanded its loyalty rewards program, called GT VIP, to provinces in Western Canada.

Giant Tiger launched GT VIP  in Ontario in September 2019 and expanded the loyalty program to Atlantic provinces and Quebec last February.

Loyalty members in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta can now access exclusive deals and browse the weekly flyer through the retailer's free mobile app.

In addition to the weekly flyer, new deals on groceries, fashion and home essentials are loaded each Wednesday.

"GT VIP continues to offer Giant Tiger a real way to connect with our customers, having them participate both digitally and in store," said Paul Wood, president & CEO, Giant Tiger Stores Limited, in a press release. "Our loyalty program allows us to create long-term engagement with our VIP members, while strengthening our relationships with our Giant Tiger community."
