Give back this October with Cashmere Bathroom Tissue

10/13/2020

A Difference You Can Feel.

Earlier this month, fifteen leading Canadian designers revealed their vision of a future without breast cancer at a first-ever virtual showing of the annual Cashmere Collection. Unique in the world, the Cashmere Collection features original runway-ready couture crafted from sheets of luxuriously soft Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, all for a meaningful cause. The runway event kicks off October Breast Cancer Awareness Month each year, and heralds the return of Cashmere’s annual fund- and awareness-raising activities for the breast cancer cause at the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).

This year’s collection, themed Masquerade Ball, challenged designers ― all veteran contributors to the Cashmere Collection ― to reimagine traditional Venetian ball gowns and masks with twenty-first century sophistication. In a remarkable stroke of kismet, the 17th annual Cashmere Collection honours 2020’s hottest commodities – the mask and bathroom tissue! Hosted by Collection Curator and stylist-to-the-stars Joe Zee, and by CTV’s Melissa Grelo and Tyrone Edwards, the collection debuted on CTV The Social’s Facebook Page and can be viewed here.

Throughout October, Canadians are invited to give back to the breast cancer cause by participating in Vote Couture for the Cure at CashmereVoteCouture.com. For each vote
for Canadians’ favourite design, Cashmere will donate $1 to the CCS’s breast cancer efforts (up to $10,000). Additionally, throughout October, twenty-five cents from the sale of every specially-marked package goes directly towards breast cancer efforts (up to $35,000).
