Good Food for Good has launched an innovative line of plant-based Bolognese sauces. According to the Toronto-based company, while many plant-based sauces on the market use soy or pea protein isolates, Good Food for Good chose pumpkin seeds as the star ingredient for the new Bolognese collection because they’re a natural and nutritious superfood with a low water and carbon footprint. Available in Classic, Creamy or Spicy varieties, the Bolognese sauces are made using only organic ingredients with no sugar or preservatives added. Each sauce delivers the same amount of protein per serving as meat-based Bolognese sauces but with 0 mg of cholesterol, and all varieties are Whole30 approved, paleo and vegan.
