Ontario grocer Goodness Me! has appointed Danny Brannagan as its new CEO.

Brannagan has been serving as the interim chief executive since April.

He succeeds Bruce Beacham, who retired in March following a six-year tenure as CEO.

Brannagan previously served as chief financial officer at Goodness Me! since January 2022.

"I am honored to take on the role of CEO at Goodness Me! and build upon the strong foundation laid by Mr. Beacham, and the Jacks family. I also want to thank our dedicated team and loyal customers for helping propel Goodness Me! to what it is today," said Brannagan in a release. "Our commitment to providing high-quality, natural products across our produce, grocery, supplements, eatery, meat, dairy, and cheese departments remains unwavering. We will continue to focus on providing high-quality education to our customers and maintaining the exceptional level of service provided by our knowledgeable staff."

The retailer currently has 10 stores in Ontario.
