Grocer welcomes new managing editor

Alicia Androich has joined the Canadian Grocer team as managing editor.

Androich is not a new face to the publication. Previously an assistant editor at Canadian Grocer, she's returned to the magazine after working for several years at Grocer's sister publication, Marketing Magazine.

A journalist for roughly 14 years, Androich has written and edited for various trade and consumer publications, including Canadian Business and Boatguide Canada.

Before her career in journalism, Androich worked as a grocery store cashier and still remembers the code for bananas (4011).
